About Me
My Story...
I started quilting a little over two years ago. I bought myself a small machine and watched A LOT of videos. After I made my first block (which was a lot harder than I should have started with) I was hooked! Since then I have made numerous quilts and given almost all of them away.
I was able to upgrade my sewing machine to a little bit bigger one and I have added an embroidery machine to my arsenal. I love doing embroidered quilt blocks. My original intention was to actually do some quilting on my embroidery machine. I have been so busy with actual embroidery projects that I haven't even gotten the chance to try it yet.
I would love for my hobby to some day turn into a business. I know I have to start somewhere, so here it is. Please visit my shop to see what I have to offer and help me make my dream a reality.

VISIT MY STUDIO
Welcome to my quilt studio. This is the third location my studio has been in my house. I started with just a small corner of one room. Then I moved to a larger corner of another room. After having trouble finding large enough places to baste quilts my husband set me up in our garage. I have plenty of room to spread out and grow.
I have a wonderful setup for my studio. I have three 2'x4' tables that are on casters so I can move them anywhere I need them. I can put them together when I'm basting a quilt so I have plenty of room to work on. Or I can separate them out and have multiple tasks going at one time.
We've told my daughter that once she graduates from college we would turn our garage into a studio apartment for her, and I would take her current bedroom to be my quilt studio. However, she may have to fight me for it...
